The TruDesign Y Piece is a superior composite fitting designed and manufactured in New Zealand for combining the flow from two hoses in marine plumbing systems. The smooth internal geometry promotes unrestricted flow, reducing the risk of blockages and minimising salt buildup when used with seawater by ensuring all surfaces are fully flushed. Moulded from high-strength glass-reinforced nylon composite, the Y Piece delivers exceptional strength, stiffness, toughness, and dimensional stability. It eliminates the corrosion and electrical bonding problems associated with metallic fittings, and is designed to withstand twin hose clamps without crushing under high load conditions.
